Welcome

Welcome to Love Food Live Life

For many people, the relationship that they have with food, eating and their body, is painful. Too many years of their lives are spent feeling unhappy with their appearance and working to change how they look through diets and exercise regimes, but these interventions are often only part of the solution.

Complicated relationships with food, poor body image and excess weight can be symptoms of a deeper unhappiness and if we are to attend to them, it is necessary for us to further our understanding of ourselves. Our responses to food and our eating habits provide a powerful tool with which to develop our self-awareness and it is this, that can be used to bring about change. However, reversing years of unhealthy food habits and beliefs about our body can be a challenging process.

As a UK trained GP, I have developed Love Food Live Life to provide a place to turn, if you would like to improve how you relate to food. In the context of a therapeutic relationship, we will explore why you eat what you do and how you feel about your relationship with food, eating and your body. It is possible to become calm around food, assured about our bodies and in time, able to Love Food Live Life.
